Bougainville 2006 - Module 1 Completed

Completion of Training Module 1
Praise God, Module 1, a 4 week training course for Pastors on Bougainville has now been completed.
There were 26 students from church groups in the Northern parts of Bougainville. The wives of these pastors were also encouraged to attend and praise God 8 of the 26 students were wives.

Ernie & Marilyn intention is to training the Pastors as a team and to see their wives attend is a encouraging outcome.
Ernie quoted the material and time spent in the training has been a profitable journey, the students have been truly encouraged buy the 4 weeks of training.
A Celebration service was conducted on Sunday the 17th which saw people come from many parts of Bougainville to share in the thanks giving and give praise for the recent training. Hear Ernie Gunders report via HF Radio of the Celebration. Radio Report

It truly has been a wonderful outcome, which saw many people involved as communities came together from different villages to facilitate meals and accommodation for students during the 4 weeks.

The work in Bougainville involves not only the people in countries outside Bougainville, the senders, supporters, partners, prayers, it also involves the people on the ground in the local communities. Gods kingdom has come together for His Glory we praise God for this journey and all who are involved.
Special Effect Returns from Bougainville
Now it's time for Special Effects to return. This Friday 29th Sep Ernie, Marilyn and Don White, who Praise God has flown to Bougainville epically to help sail Special Effects and her tired crew home. There were a few challenges with flights, however Don finally made it safely to Bougainville and to Special Effects.

The Auto Pilot which failed during the passage north was returned with Don and with a few hiccups, was re-commissioned Thursday ready for the trip South. The need our prayers for a safe passage home, start praying now.
| Training might be over but the praying needs to continue
Tehillah Ministries would love you to join in prayer for the Pastors and their wives who have been through the first stage of their training. We need to pray that the truth of Gods Word which has been sown into their lives, be rooted deeply and grow to be used for our Heavenly Fathers Glory. Please pray with us that Gods hand will be upon these precious servant pastors.

The Future
The application process for working permits in PNG is a long journey, and it's not over yet. This no doubt is very important for the training of these people in Bougainville to be fully completed. Gods timing is perfect as we wait for these plans to come together.
Training Centre

In 2007 Special Effects will sail across to Bougainville to transport the Training College Principle - Ernie Gunders and his Personal Assistant & Training Co-coordinator Marilyn.

Projects
The needs of people in the pacific are great. Most of us live in countries where power, water and food are at our fingertips. God's Word has been written in many languages, however not all have heard, nor know how to grow in it. In a partnership the United Church of Bougainville, Tehillah Ministries will be training some 150 pastors. This is a long term commitment which we can't do alone. There are many projects that God could be calling you to be involved with. Watch this space for more information.

Team Tehillah
The Gunders, the Cavies and many others are involved with what will be a long term commitment in Bougainville. Churches, families, school children & individuals are already involved, supporting this effort through God's Blessing. In this area you will come to know personally those who are directly involved in Tehillah Ministries.

No doubt technology has come along way and with that the ability to communicate in many formats. The Internet linked a boat in the US to Tehillah Ministries in Australia. We look forward to sharing our Vision and God's Blessing to people all around the world. So we can't help ourselves, but to share the evidence of His blessings in our lives to all who will listen.
