While at sea "Special Effects" knows a SPX is in contact with the mainland via Coastlands.
Twice daily via the HF Radio the crew report posistion, direction, boat speed, wind, cloud cover, sea and swell conditions.
They discuss breilfy the health and welbeing of the crew, share some encourcgment, and relay any message.
The data is entered online for use in future weather modeling predictions. This detail are also used to plot SPX on a map which you can view. |
